Vote! - It’s important for you to exercise your right to vote! The Summit Common Council Election, along with the elections for Governor and Lt. Governor, State Assembly and Senate, Union County Freeholders and other offices is Tuesday, November 5. Polls are open from 6am to 8pm.

Register to Vote - The deadline date to register to vote in this election is Tuesday, October 15. Click here for the Union County voter registration application link. Not sure if you are registered or where your polling place is? Click here.

Vote-by-Mail - If you will be away on election day, or prefer to vote-by-mail, click here for an application to Vote-by-Mail. The deadline for returning this application is Tuesday, October 29. You can also go to the Clerk’s office in either Westfield or Elizabeth during special hours on Saturday, November 2 and Monday, November 4 to apply to vote-by-mail and vote while you are there.
